Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller

2. Data we collect

  • Email and profile preferences collected through newsletter signup, lead magnet downloads, or contact forms.
  • Usage data aggregated (pages visited, time on page) via privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible or self-hosted PostHog).
  • Affiliate click events tracked anonymously to measure which gear recommendations are useful. We do not link these to your email or identity.
  • Payment data (for future ebook and masterclass purchases) handled by Stripe / Gumroad. We never store card details.

3. Purpose of processing

Data is used to: deliver the requested services (lead magnet download, newsletter), send the weekly fireside letter (revocable in one click), aggregate analytics for content improvement, fulfill billing obligations for paid products.

4. Legal basis

Explicit consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a) for newsletter; contract performance (art. 6.1.b) for paid products; legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f) for anonymous aggregated analytics.

5. Data retention

Newsletter email addresses: kept until explicit unsubscribe. Lead magnet downloads: 90 days post-cancellation for export. Billing data: 10 years per Italian fiscal requirements. Anonymous analytics: 24 months rolling.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, port your data, or object. To exercise these rights: privacy@firestone-feast.com. Right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

7. Third parties involved

  • Cloudflare (hosting plus CDN, EU/global)
  • Beehiiv (newsletter + lead magnet delivery, US-based, GDPR-compliant DPA)
  • Stripe and Gumroad (payments for future paid products)
  • Plausible or PostHog self-hosted (privacy-friendly analytics, EU-hosted)
  • Affiliate networks (Amazon Associates, Impact, AvantLink, FlexOffers) for tracking conversion only, no PII shared

This privacy policy is a preliminary version pending VAT assignment and legal finalization. It will be updated and signed digitally before public launch Q3 2026.
